Wix
For the past few weeks I have been working on my website. It has been difficult to get everything done because of my hectic schedule. Although everything seems to be all over the place, I am having a lot of fun building the website. I am using Wix. It is a website more for self promotion, but I am making it work.I have found ways around my problems and am so excited to show off the finishing result. I'm hoping to have the website published by the end of the month of March. I also have completed my logo for the site. I was inspired by one of my favorite shirt, which I purchased at a thrift store.

I have one quick question. You say that your shirt inspired your logo and I think it looks quite similar and I am just wondering if that picture was copyrighted or what? I don't want you to get in trouble for it so I just want to make sure.
ReplyDeleteDoing a website is pretty tough. I know what you are going through because right now I am also making a website for my fathers buisness and I have had some complications and it is a long process but patience is much needed and I think you have that so I think you will be able to finish by march.
You say that you are making a self-promotion site for photographers and I just want to know what are they promoting thier work to? The everyone else because if so they will stick with flickr, you have to make your website different and maybe better if you want others to use it. I've learned that while writting my book.
Well Nyerere My shirt is different from my logo. It has slightly the same theme, but it is my own idea so I don't have to worry much about it. And the website is not for self-promotion, I simply mentioned that is what this website is mostly used for.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to keep people expressing themselves even if it means through media. Sticture will be more of the online museum for my members. It will make a little more sense when I move further along in the works. Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it and I will be sure to further explain what makes Sticture different in one of my upcoming blog posts.

Lucy I am impressed by your logo, even though you've shown it to me before, I have to say I like it a lot. I know you're a hardworking person so I'm sure you'll be able to finish your website soon. I can't wait to see the final outcome! Keep up the hard work because by the looks of it it's paying off.
